Troubleshooting QBCore resources
A repeatable checklist for scripts that fail or behave differently.
- Record the exact resource name and console/client F8 error.
- Confirm the resource folder exists and is ensured after its dependencies.
- Check fxmanifest.lua dependencies and server.cfg load order.
- Compare the installed config and source commit with the guide.
- Confirm SQL files were imported into the database actually used by oxmysql.
- Restart the affected resource only in testing; use a full restart when core/shared data changed.
- Clear client cache only for client-loading problems, not database or server errors.
- Reproduce with one player and preserve logs before editing source.
Never blindly overwrite customized resources with a newer upstream copy.
