Forum, Discord & Marketplace Rules
Official Co:LA platforms are extensions of the same community. Conduct that would be unacceptable in game does not become acceptable because it occurs in a forum thread, direct message, voice channel, or support ticket.
Respectful conduct
Disagreement is allowed. Harassment, targeted humiliation, discriminatory abuse, threats, stalking, repeated unwanted contact, and encouraging others to isolate or attack a member are prohibited.
Context matters, but “it was a joke” does not excuse conduct that is clearly malicious or continues after someone asks for it to stop.
Privacy and personal information
Do not publish, request, trade, or threaten to reveal another person's private information. This includes addresses, workplaces, schools, private accounts, phone numbers, financial details, login information, and non-public photographs.
Doxxing, swatting threats, account theft, and malicious impersonation result in severe action and may be referred to the relevant platform or authorities.
Spam and disruption
Do not flood channels, repeatedly tag members, derail support threads, abuse reactions, mass-message users, create duplicate topics, or intentionally make sections difficult to use.
Use channels and forum sections for their stated purpose. Staff may move, merge, lock, or remove content to keep information organized.
Advertising and recruitment
Unapproved advertising for other roleplay servers, communities, products, referral systems, or paid services is prohibited. Personal creative work may be shared in appropriate areas when it is relevant and not repeatedly promoted.
Do not recruit Co:LA members through unsolicited private messages for competing communities.
Content standards
Pornographic content, sexual content involving minors, graphic real-world gore, malware, phishing, cheat distribution, extremist propaganda, and instructions intended to facilitate real-world harm are prohibited.
Use content warnings for material that is allowed but may reasonably disturb others.
Impersonation and authority
Do not impersonate staff, faction leadership, official departments, or another member. Usernames, profile images, forum groups, and Discord roles must not be used to mislead people about authority.
Staff will not ask for your password. Report suspicious messages through official support channels.
Reports, tickets, and appeals
Support channels must be used honestly. Include relevant evidence, answer questions directly, and avoid contacting multiple staff members to seek a different result.
Do not edit evidence deceptively, omit key context, pressure witnesses, or retaliate against someone for filing a report. Public callout threads about active cases may be removed.
Marketplace and trading
Marketplace listings must accurately describe the in-character item or service offered. Real-world money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, account access, paid favors, or external goods may not be exchanged for in-game currency, vehicles, properties, items, ranks, or benefits.
The marketplace cannot be used to sell accounts, stolen content, cheats, exploits, or services that violate another platform's terms.
In-character marketplace scams are only permitted when they comply with the scamming policy and occur through clearly in-character channels. OOC sale threads and official application areas must remain truthful.
Intellectual property
Post content you created, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to share. Do not repost paid modifications, leaked scripts, private documents, or another creator's work while claiming it as your own.
Co:LA branding may not be used to falsely present an unofficial service, launcher, social account, or download as authorized.
Multiple accounts and punishment evasion
Do not create alternate forum or Discord accounts to bypass mutes, bans, channel restrictions, blocked contact, or moderation decisions. Accounts used to assist evasion may also be removed.
